Undersea Settlement
The goals of the LUF include not only space settlement, but also the settlement of the world's seas. Dennis Chamberland, the blogger at QuantumLimit.com, is writing a book about the settlement of the world's seas which is scheduled to be released at the end of the winter season. In the latest post about the book, Chamberland notes that many interesting developments have been occurring in the seas. Several companies are building undersea resorts. Increased undersea tourism is almost certain lead to the permanent settlement of the oceans, the mining of the oceanic floor, and eventually the rise of underwater cities.
